Learn about the economic and ecosystem functions of grassesand basic terminology useful in grass identification. Work with fresh specimens to learn the parts of the grass plant, with an emphasis on vegetative characteristics that are useful in field identification.The last two hours will be spent in the field examining a variety of native and exotic grasses.Bring a small knife and hand lens.A Certificate in Native Plants elective
