Our monthly musical variety show continues! After taking the month of October off to celebrate and then to recover from our North Georgia Folk Festival, we are back with a very special Hoot! Matuto - "Appalachian Brazilian" band based in NYC, which features fantastically dance-able music! Featuring vocals, accordion, guitar, violin, bass, drums, and various Brazilian percussion instruments. Kenney-Blackmon String Band - Beautifully played fiddle tunes, old time ballads and original songs, this band mixes up traditional melodies with their own spirit of rhythm, harmony, improvisation. Susan Staley will open and host the evening. This promises to be a stellar night of music! And as always, a free show, so please come out and show your appreciation for these musicians who generously share their talents!
