9:00 am - 5:00 pm Health Sciences Campus Wright Hall Sponsored by: College of Public Health Injury prevention, occupational health, practicing evidence-based medicine, reproduction and fertility and violence prevention are just few of the common global health issues to be tackled by researchers, healthcare providers, and policy makers from the U.S. and Croatia at the fifth annual Global Health Symposium.The conference, entitled “International Health Partnership Symposium 2012: University of Zagreb, Croatia & University of Georgia,” will be hosted by UGA College of Public’s Health Center for Global Health, and will showcase UGA’s ongoing partnership in research and education with the University of Zagreb in Croatia.  The Center welcomes students, faculty, staff and members of the community to attend the event.The symposium will kickoff at 9 a.m. at Wright Hall on the Health Sciences Campus with a welcome from Schuster and Dr. Carol Cotton, an associate professor at the College of Public Health and one of the sponsors of this year’s symposium.
