The piano ensemble known as Humoresque will be performing a Christmas Concert on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at The Church at College Station (1225 College Station Rd.) in Athens. The concert begins at 6:30pm, doors open at 6pm. This concert is free, but donations will be collected to benefit the Music and Arts Program at The Church at College Station.
Humoresque is an up-and-coming, dynamic music ensemble, made up of three pianists. They specialize in performing works that require six hands on one piano. With the goal to make music appealing to all age groups, they focus on creating unique concert sets. Since their beginning in 2011, they have performed many full-length concerts in Athens and the Atlanta area and recently debuted in New York City.
Their Christmas Concert is a blend of traditional, classical, and modern pieces that will inspire, entertain, and leave you in the spirit of Christmas! Donations will be accepted for the Music and Arts Program at the Church at College Station
