"Writing Nature in Latin America: A Literary History," Mark Anderson.Anderson is Associate Professor of Latin American Literature and Culture. His research focuses on the relationships between literature and the environment in Latin America.This book project is a historicist examination of Latin American texts dealing with the environment. It reveals the unfolding of human-nature relations within the specifically Latin American context, including attitudes that are compatible with those that have led us to the current global environmental crisis as well as a plethora of alternative projects and conceptualizations.Part of the Willson Center for Humanities and Arts 2012-2013 Fellows Series
