The Athens Nurses Clinic is a non-profit safety-net health care clinic providing free evaluation, treatment and education for acute and chronic medical and dental conditions to uninsured low-and-no income residents of Athens-Clarke County and the surrounding counties. The Athens Nurses Clinic is one of only four free clinics in northeast Georgia. The Clinic has been providing free health care to the homeless and low-income uninsured residents of Athens and northeast Georgia since 1991. It is a nurse-practitioner-based family practice clinic.
