Mike Galifianakis, statewide ADA Coordinator, will discuss disability issues. The seminar is targeted to persons who are responsible for recognizing and responding to accessibility and accommodation issues in their units and classrooms.A frequent lecturer on disability law, Galifianakis operated his own law firm, specializing in disability law prior to joining GSFIC. His experience includes serving as Special Assistant Attorney General for the Georgia Commission on Equal Opportunity, working as an agent for the Georgia Bureau of Investigation, and working at the Southeast Disability and Business Technical Assistance Center and the Persons with Disabilities Law Center. Galifianakis graduated from Florida State University with a bachelor's degree in criminology and earned his law degree from Georgia State University.Please RSVP to Marsha LeCroy at mlecroy@uga.edu or 706-542-7912 by February 14, 2013.
