A night game at Death Valley. How's that for your first road start, Nick Marshall?
The SEC released TV information for its Sept. 21 games on Monday, and the big news for Auburn is that the Tigers' first road game of the year will be in college football's toughest environment. Auburn-LSU will kickoff at 6:45 p.m. CT from Tiger Stadium. ESPN has the broadcast.
The time slot is ESPN's primary primetime broadcast. Brad Nessler will have the play-by-play, and he'll be joined by Todd Blackledge for analysis and Holly Rowe on the sideline.
For Nick Marshall, it will be his first game away from home as a starting FBS quarterback, and that certainly should send chills up Auburn fans' spines. Marshall will have to deal with not only the vaunted LSU defense, but also a fully lubricated Baton Rouge crowd.
Tennessee's trip to Florida will be the 2:30 p.m. CBS game, despite the Gators' ugly performance in a loss to Miami this past Saturday. The complete SEC TV schedule for Week 4 is below.
