#Hokies land another hoops recruit -- T.J. Lang, son of ex-Duke player Antonio Lang— Mark Berman (@BermanRoanoke) September 16, 2013
Lang, as was mentioned last night by perhaps the best Virginia Tech basketball source on Twitter, KipTJam, was announcing this afternoon after visiting the Hokies over the weekend:
TJ Lang, '14 wing from Alabama will announce his decision tomorrow. Visited VT this weekend— KipTJam (@KipTJam) September 16, 2013
Lang's only official visit was this weekend to Virginia Tech, which tended to indicate his impending decision was to commit to Virginia Tech.
Lang only has profiles with two of the major recruiting services UPDATE: RIVALS HAS EITHER CREATED A PROFILE SINCE THIS STORY WAS POSTED, OR IT DOES NOT SHOW UP IN INTERNET SEARCHES. Scout and Rivals rate Lang as a 3-star prospect and while 247Sports has yet to rate him, Lang does have a profile on the site. He also does not have highlights through either of the two sites. He does however have a YouTube highlight tape, which we will review shortly.
247Sports lists Lang with six D-I offers including Appalachian State, Georgia Southern, Louisiana-Lafayette, Oregon State, Samford and the Hokies. Rivals lists his offers as Appalachian State, Cal State Northridge, Florida International, Oregon State, South Alabama, Stanford and Western Carolina. Scout lists the Hokies as Lang's only offer. According to KipTJam though, he had offers from Northwestern, Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Oregon State, UAB, South Alabama and Memphis.

According to this tweet from Mike Barber, Lang averaged 17.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game as a junior:
TJ Lang is a 6-foot-6 senior forward from McGill-Toolen in Mobile, Ala. He averaged 17.1 points and 4.9 rebounds per game last year #Hokies— Mike Barber (@RTD_MikeBarber) September 16, 2013
Lang is the second commitment of the 2014 class, and the second in two weeks after Justin Bibbs, another wing player, committed last week. The wing is a position of importance going forward as Robert Brown transferred away after last year and Jarell Eddie, the Hokies' returning leading-scorer, is a senior.
