Athens Sports Radio 960 The Ref  (960 am WRFC) is the only sports radio station of its kind in Athens, Georgia.  Located at 1010 Tower Place, on the outskirts of Athens in Bogart, Georgia, WRFC (5000 watts) can be clearly heard across northeast Georgia. 

At times, when certain atmospheric conditions allow, listeners have called in to report hearing the station loud and clear from as far away as Savannah and Hilton Head (although these conditions are indeed rare.)

WRFC employs a small but dedicated staff of around a dozen sports enthusiasts to bring you the best in local shows and live sporting events, while partnering with ESPN Radio and the Georgia Bulldog Radio Network.
