ATHENS, Ga. --- Georgia's Olivia Ball has been chosen as the Southeastern Conference Female Diver of the Week, according to an announcement Tuesday by the league office.

The junior from Powell, Ohio, competed on 1-meter for the first time this season at Tennessee on Saturday and claimed the board with 286.80 points. She also placed second on 3-meter with a season-best 304.50 points.

Ball's efforts on each board reached the NCAA Zone B Championship qualifying standards. The Zone meet will take place in March at Auburn.

Ball helped the Lady Bulldogs defeat Tennessee to finish the SEC schedule with a 4-0 record. Ball and Georgia also improved to 20-0-1 against league foes dating back to 2013.

Georgia will entertain Emory on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the regular-season finale. Georgia's seniors will be recognized in a pre-meet ceremony.
