Vincent Riou's PRB Damaged in Collision in Vendee Globe
Vincent Riou's Vendee Globe is hanging by a carbon thread on Saturday (November 24) after the PRB skipper's boat collided with a metal buoy. The collision, which occurred around 550 miles off the Brazil coast, caused significant damage to the Frenchman's hull and mast. The winner of the 2004-05 Vendee Globe was third and part of the leading group until the crash.
