A-CC solicits feedback on plans for pedestrian, bicycle access

City Hall is looking for public input on plans for improving bicycle and pedestrian connectivity along Riverbend Road between South Milledge Avenue and College Station Road in Athens. An online survey is on the Athens-Clarke County government website. The survey will be up through Wednesday of next week.

The purpose of this project is to improve connectivity for pedestrians and bicyclists along Riverbend Road between College Station Road and S. Milledge Road. The proposed project will close an existing sidewalk gap, potentially improve existing bike lanes, allowing better access to adjacent subdivisions and businesses along Riverbend Road as well as to public transportation. A storyboard with proposed designs and a public survey can be accessed at:
