NE Ga drownings investigated

Both are believed accidental

The Cobb County man who is believed to have drowned in Lake Lanier has been identified: Xi Zhu was 56 years old, from Marietta. Crews have been searching for his body in the Shoal Creek area of Lake Lanier in Hall County.

The Georgia Department of Natural Resources is investigating the drowning death of a teenager in Lumpkin County: his family says the 15 year-old slipped on a rock and fell into Dick’s Creek near Dahlonega.
