from UGA Sports Communications - The University of Georgia will host a gymnastics regional in 2019, announced by the NCAA on Tuesday.
The regional and championship sites for the 2019-2022 seasons were released in a video, with Fort Worth, Texas serving as the championship location for all four years.
The Gymdogs will play host on April 6, 2019 with LSU, Iowa State, Oklahoma, Michigan and Oregon State serving as the other regional sites. That regional is the only at home for UGA in the four-year window announced on Tuesday by the NCAA.
Since 1984, Georgia has hosted 10 gymnastics regionals, with the Gymdogs earning six regional championships. The team last hosted a regional in 2016, with Georgia and LSU advancing to nationals.
