Today marks the end of the second week of early voting in Athens and around the state: Athens voters are settling a sales tax referendum, while there are municipal elections elsewhere around the region, with a Mayor’s race in Watkinsville and a City Council seat up for grabs in Winterville. Early voting ends next Friday. Election Day is November 5.
