Riley, d’Arnaud power Braves past Phils

Austin Riley hit two home runs and Travis d’Arnaud lined a one-out single to left in the 8th inning to break a 5-all tie as the Braves beat the Phillies 8-5 in the opener of their four-game series in Atlanta.

It was the first meeting between the two teams since the Phillies beat the Braves in the divisional round of the 2022 post season.
