The humidity is noticeably up, and as a result the amount of cloud cover and the rain chance are up as well.
The chance of rain is higher than normal for the weekend, but at least so far, no washout is expected either Saturday or Sunday.
Today a stray shower could pop up this morning. And then, we will see a few scattered thunderstorms in the area this afternoon and evening. A couple of those could be strong or marginally severe, especially north side.
Rain amounts will average a tenth to quarter of an inch today, a quarter to half inch tomorrow on average and another quarter inch on average for Sunday. There will be plenty of dry areas and dry hours to go around too, even if the weekend will be sunshine-challenged.
An isolated heavier storm could bring flooding, but the risk is low.
High temperatures will not be as hot as this week, with highs in the mid-80s and lows in the lower 70s.
