Clarke Co School District resumes summer meal program

The Clarke County School District launches its Summer Meals Program today at Clarke and Hilsman middle schools and Whitehead Road and Winterville elementary schools. The four schools will serve as pickup sites on Mondays and Thursdays through July 15.

The Clarke County School Nutrition Program program kicks off its Summer Meals Program for ALL CHILDREN 18 years old and younger at four schools across the district.

Clarke Middle School (1235 Baxter Street), Hilsman Middle School (280 Gaines School Road), Whitehead Road Elementary School (555 Quailwood Drive), and Winterville Elementary School (305 Cherokee Road) will serve as pickup sites every Monday and Thursday this summer from 9 a.m – 10 a.m. through July 15th.

All items will be distributed cold with easy-to-follow instructions on how to safely reheat certain menu items at home.

There is no charge for the meals and registration is not required.

Families DO NOT need to be enrolled in a Clarke County School District school to be eligible.
