The Georgia State Patrol says one of the two teenagers killed in a crash in Emanuel County was from Alto: Troopers say 19 year-old Jordan Thomas was driving the truck that hydroplaned on I-16. 18 year-old passenger Bradley Couey was from Kingston and was also killed in the accident, which remains under investigation.
Governor Brian Kemp took to Twitter after learning of the tragedy:
“Please join our family in praying for the family and loved ones of Jordan Thomas and Bradley Couey. May God bring peace that passes all understanding as they grieve this tragic loss.”
