ATHENS — Georgia played one of its best games of the season this past week in a blowout win over Mississippi State.

Georgia won 41-21 on the road against a team that had given College Football Playoff hopefuls Texas and Tennessee trouble.

Ohio State remained at No. 1 after its win over Purdue.
