Hawks pick Duke forward A.J. Griffin at No. 16 in NBA draft

The Atlanta Hawks selected Duke forward A.J. Griffin with the number 16 pick in Thursday’s NBA draft.

Griffin was one of four Duke players taken in the first round.

The 6-6 Griffin averaged 10.4 points and 3.9 rebounds for a Duke team that reached the Final Four this past season.
