Pérez throws 5 scoreless innings as Braves beat Tigers

Martín Pérez threw five scoreless innings as the Braves beat the Tigers 5-2 Tuesday night in Atlanta.

Perez allowed just two hits while walking four and striking out five to improve his record to 2-1 on the season.

Ozzie Albies hit a two-run homer while Ronald Acuña Jr. added two of Atlanta’s five doubles on the night.
